Bethany Balsis and The Mums have something in common…we love all things BABY! Because of her passion, Bethany started The Polkadot Platypus, your one-stop maternity, baby and kids shop. One item in particular that we fell in love with from her shop is this Bella Tunno Play Smock in the “Hot Stuff” style. If your toddler is as energetic and creative as mine, this is a must-have. I have been searching for a smock like this for the majority of the summer. Something waterproof and big enough to cover her entire front-side, yet not constricting. The platypus, I have heard,
has a duck-bill like a bird.
They have dense, dark fur
And sometimes live in the water.
The platypus lays little eggs
And has a rather strange look.
They spray poison so I think
I’d rather see them in a book!

There isn’t anything on this site that I DON’T want! It’s also good to keep in mind for the next one, since the maternity clothes are also SO cute! Don’t you hate when you see a REALLY cute maternity shirt and say to yourself, “Where was that when I was pregnant?! Aww!”

I think I have seen a platypus at the zoo. Maybe, I’m not exactly sure. Seems that as many zoos as I have been to, I would have to have seen one.
I love the play smock also. My niece loves aprons and we don’t have one in her size. This would be great.

Yes, we saw a platypus at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo when we were kids, don’t know if they still have them, but it is the best zoo for kids!
