Are You a bumGenius?

I’ve had lots of moms come to me with questions about cloth diapering, which I love!  I’ve had the chance to try out many kinds of cloth diapers.  Because both of my boys grew so fast, I’ve been pleased with one-size diapers.  Although they are a little big in the beginning, as soon as babies get a little meat on their bones, one-size diapers are perfect.  Of the many one-size varieties, I have a couple of favorites, one of which is the bumGenius 3.0 from Cotton Babies.

In my opinion, the greatest thing about bumGenius is how un-bulky they are.  If you are a cloth diaperer, you know that almost no pants for children are made with consideration to the cloth diapering community!  Well, bumGenius are very much like a disposable diaper, in that they are nice & thin, but without all the trash & waste that you get with disposables!  bumGenius was created by a cloth diapering mum, and she is constantly striving to improve her product.  Their customer service is impeccable, (our own mum Jaymi can’t say enough nice things about how great their customer service is!), and where can you find a company today with great customer service?!?  bumGenius come in the classic one size 3.0, organic, and deluxe 2.0.  The more you buy, the more you save!

Cotton Babies has many more products that will catch your eye too: swim diapers, clothing, nursing needs, and much more.  If you’re expecting, you can even create a registry at Cotton Babies!  What a great alternative for parents that want to start their little one out environmentally friendly!

If you’re wondering where to begin, Cotton Babies has a page of cloth diapering basics, as well as a blog that addresses your “deeper” cloth diapering questions. :)   These sites will help you with any cloth diapering concerns you might have: financial (the initial investment can be pricey, but you’ll wind up saving thousands!), environmental, and more!
