All the Mums Love Kai!

Recently, a few of the Mums had the chance to test out the new Spring line available at See Kai Run & Smaller. We’re long time fans of Kai. You’ve heard me talk about them a ton, and that’s because I truly believe that these are great shoes. Oh, and they’re the super-freaking cutest shoes in the world too…so good for you and totally adorable? I’ll take it. Lennon has had a couple of pairs of Smaller shoes. They’re great. He’s able to keep the stability he needs as he’s perfecting walking (since he’s practically RUNNING, I guess maybe he’s got it down…) with the shoe’s soft sole, while looking totally stylin’. I’ll be sad when he’s outgrown the Smaller line, but I’m happy his Finn’s will be followed by a pair of See Kai Run shoes!

Any Mama to a 3 year old knows how awful shoes are. There’s this whole love/hate thing that comes with having a preschooler with feet. They love to wear shoes, and I mean all day long, even if they’re not dressed, but on the other hand the shoes ALWAYS hurt their feet. Oh, the joys. I’m pretty sure that every.single.pair of shoes that my girl wants to wear end up hurting her feet at some point, which leads to a major melt down and a “well then we’re going to have to carry you because you’re not walking shoe-less in this public mall, grocery store, gas station, whathaveyou”…Then we were introduced to the lovely shoes at See Kai Run. It was seriously like the gates of Heaven opened the day they arrived. I had previously let her pick her own pair off their site, and she picked the Jennae which are these cute toeless little pink Mary Janes (my kids has fabulous taste!). She was so excited when they arrived in the mail and I was so excited when we went to church and then out to lunch without a single shoe mishap. Thank you See Kai Run, you have made life much easier for this frazzled Mama of 3!
Here’s what Naomi and Jasper think of their Graysons!
For us, the change of season is all about new shoes: Springtime brings flowers but more importantly, sandal weather! Jasper is about to have his first summer as a walker, so he’ll also have his first pair of sandals. See Kai Run’s Grayson sandals are a slick update of the classic fisherman’s sandal. Grayson can go dressy, with linen pants and a snazzy aloha shirt, for example, or casual with just about anything else in a fashionable toddler’s wardrobe. Right now they only fit Jasper with socks, but soon enough he’ll be sporting them with tanned toes and baggy shorts. We can’t wait to get outside and test ‘em out! (I am so sad that Roo’s feet have gotten too big for See Kai Run. If only I’d bound her feet, she could be sporting the lovely teal Cameron Sky or silver star-studded Indria sandals…)
